Beautiful Trouble vs. climate chaos

This past month was a big, big moment for the Climate Justice movement. And Beautiful Trouble was there. In fact, we were kind of everywhere:

> Our stellar posse of  European Trainers teamed up with 350.org and GCCA to pull off our first-ever 5-day training in Budapest, giving Central & Eastern European climate organizers a creative shot in the arm.

> We launched Beautiful Solutions: A Toolbox for the Future alongside the debut of Naomi Klein’s This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. The Climate at The New School in New York City.

>At the end of the People’s Climate March, we brought the Climate Ribbon to the streets of New York. Dubbed an “AIDS Quilt for the climate justice movement,” this art-ritual brought together thousands to grieve what each of us stands to lose to Climate Chaos, and affirm our solidarity as we unite to fight against it. You too can convene a Climate Ribbon in your community or congregation.

>All told, 16 Beautiful Trouble Trainers and 8 of our staff were on the ground in New York City in the days and weeks leading up to the big march, pitching in on everything from front lines community organizing to art-activist trainings to baking key climate stories into the very design of the march.

Thank you, and onwards!
— Andrew, Rae, Gan, Chelsea and the whole Beautiful Trouble team

There is a growing space for radical, loving, deeply heartfelt, spiritual activism in the climate justice movement. Which to me, feels like a breakthrough. A much needed one. Thank you Beautiful Trouble for holding that space! Can’t wait for more.
