Los Angeles Creative Action Training January 2019
The team of troublemakers behind the best selling DIY-Revolution manual, Beautiful Trouble, are hosting a special weekend of trainings catered to serve organizations, networks, and activists organizing for a more just, healthy, and equitable world.
We will be conducting a 2.5 day training for trainers, delving deep into Beautiful Trouble’s creative toolbox. Cultivated from the wisdom and experience of practitioners in social movements around the globe, Beautiful Trouble dissects the greatest social movement victories of the last 100+ years and teases out the core strategies and tactics that made them successful. Our trainings deliver this wisdom and insight through interactive, hands-on, exercises and conversations.
Anchored by Los Angeles front-line organizers, and world-class trainer Nadine Bloch, (along with many other amazing folks in the room who will be announced soon), it’s going to be an exciting weekend where we learn how to up our collective game.
Also, with a number of activists joining from a variety of issue areas, it will be a good moment to form new alliances and build a broader movement in Los Angeles.

All at-large individual participants will be expected to make a donation in order to hold your spot. Organizers working within organizations will be charged a sliding scale fee, based on ability to pay.
